Beets Book Club is a DJ collective based in Somerville, MA that brings people from everywhere together around the study, practice, and appreciation of disc jockeying.

Disc jockey, or simply "DJ", a term that dates back to the 1940s, is the art of using turntables and mixing techniques to create music, beats, and vibes.
BURNING MAN EXCURSION
Beets Book Club members attended the reknown 8-day festival in the Black Rock Nevada desert and, yes, were caught in the mud. Nevertheless, many members returned more excited than ever to co-curate and co-create vibes.
THE FUSION REPORT
A select division of BBC members visited the secretive and exclusive Fusion Festival, that happens annually in a deactivated airport in the North of Germany. Unprescedented vibes and festival dynamics were noted, bringing knowledge back to our friendly book club.
PHRASE MATCHER, OR WEDDDING DJ?
Have you ever got caught between vibes and bpm's? That's real. We talk about this moment a lot, but in the end it's the vibes that you want to set forward that really matters. Phrase matching in this context gets really creative and with the variety of musical genres one can navigate, we don't think that this separation is binary. A DJ is a DJ even at a wedding.
